The above photos show a sample of the faith, fraternity and excitement of the International Military Pilgrimage.

 

 

In 1958, French soldiers invited their former German opponents to gather with them in Lourdes to pray together and to pray with their families for peace in the world.

Since then, the annual gathering in Lourdes has grown to involve military personnel from 31 different countries.

This year's pilgrimage (22-27 May 2008) - which is completely subscribed - promises to be a memorable and historic occasion.
